The course work and qualifications achieved provide the opportunity to enter into and aspire within a variety of financial occupations across many employment sectors.

Pre-entry Requirements
A College assessment of Arithmetic and English will be required. You will need to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. (Open learning is availabe to brush up these skills if they're rusty).

What skills will I learn?

Practical Experience
You will have a selection of practical tasks and assignments, which will encourage development of your time and resource management skills.

What Qualifications can I get?

OCR Level 2 Certificate (3 units) or OCR Level 2 Diploma (5 units) in Accounting.

City and Guilds 8970 - Spreadsheet Processing - Essential and Intermediate levels available.

Employment Opportunities:
You could expect to work in a variety of organisations as Sales & Purchase Ledger Clerks, Accounts Assistants Payroll Assistants & Book-keepers etc, undertaking a wide variety of financial administrative duties. Your Employment Development Manager will help you make the right choice.
